BILL DANCES WITH JOY AND GLOOM ON THE BOSPORUS' ISLET. HE WELCOMES HIS GUESTS, "MY THEME TONIGHT IS WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE BELOVED?" EVERYBODY LAUGHS AND A FEW PEOPLE LEAVE. BILL SINGS ABOUT SEX, JEALOUSY, LOVE AND OLD AGE; CRISES, CHAOS, DESTRUCTION AND FEAR. A PARADE OF GLOBAL CHARACTERS AND ACTIONS JOINING THE STAGE: BAIT FOR REASONING.

IN A CATALOG, I PRESENT EXAMPLES OF WHAT THE PUBLIC FACE OF THE NEW MAIDEN'S TOWER MAY LOOK LIKE, AS WELL AS THE LIGHTS AND SHADOWS OF ITS INTERIOR —ITS WALLS, ROOFS AND OPENINGS; MOODS, TEMPERAMENTS AND HUMOR.
